A McNee Home is a Family Affair!
THE Macleod family of Dunoon can testify to the benefits of McNee craftsmanship over a number of years.
A few months later John’s parents, Archie and Sheena, were planning to extend the family home in Kames to create a ‘granny flat’. They were so impressed with John’s house they contacted McNee’s director Ian cNee and asked his company to build their extension. They too were delighted with the quality of workmanship.
Two years later their younger son, Ewan, after buying a flat in Kim, again called on McNees or renovation work. After a spell out of the Cowal area, in 1998 Archie and Sheena moved to another McNee home in Hazel Gardens, Toward, where they lived happily for almost 6 years.
But with the family aving ‘flown the coop’ and looking for a smaller, more manageable home, they moved to a flat… but it wasn’t a McNee home! Within a couple of years they were on the move again, back to a new McNee bungalow in Dhalling Park, where they are now happily settled!
So why is the MacLeod family such loyal customers of Stewart McNee Dunoon Ltd? Archie and Sheena credit director Ian McNee with ‘building a good house’. They say he has his ‘finger on the pulse, and really cares about his customers’. They also describe him as ‘attentive and approachable’, and noted the fact that his attitude is reflected throughout the company. They commented on the high quality of finish and attention to detail. With McNee employing ‘all trades’ they noted how all the staff were co-ordinated to ensure work was never held up while they waited on a sub-contractor.
So will the family move again? Archie and Sheena are now firmly settled in Dhalling Park, but there’s a whole new generation waiting expectantly for new developments by Stewart McNee DunoonLtd!
